Forgotten Tommies is an association of Militaria collectors, historians and hobbyists. Their prime aim is to preserve and display equipment and weapons of the Second World War, with specific emphasis on the war in the far east, particularly the campaign in Burma, and to remember the people involved in the conflict by accurately portraying them in living history displays, supporting veterans events, and in ‘first person’ impressions at educational events.
Forgotten Tommies portrays generic soldiers of the 14th Army, with specific unit portrayals as and when required. Female members will normally portray Women’s Auxiliary Service Burma (WASB) or Women’s Auxiliary Corps India (WACI).
